Alpha is over. Now what?
If Alpha helped you renew or discover a relationship with God, you might find yourself wanting more. If learning about Jesus opened you up to faith, you might be open to learning more. If you remain unsure of what you believe, you still might want to stay connected with the new friends you made in Alpha.
Alpha was intentionally designed to allow learning and growth in faith to unfold in a social environment. That’s because it’s hard to keep up the momentum of learning and growing when you try to go it alone. For this reason, no matter where you are when you leave Alpha, we strongly suggest joining a Connect Group afterward. In Connect Groups, Alpha alums continue to explore together what it means to grow in faith.
Each Connect Group decides when, where, and how often they want to meet, what they want to do when they gather, and how they will structure their meetings. Some groups share a meal when they get together; others do not. Some groups meet on the parish campus; others meet in each other’s homes. Other Connect groups are meeting on the Zoom platform.
Nothing about being in a Connect Group should be heavy or intense. The emphasis is on staying connected to others who are on a journey of faith, no matter where you are on that journey.
